We understand things can come up that leave you unable to conduct your 1-hour phone call, so if you need to cancel it, doing so is easy!
Cancelling a 1-Hour Phone Call: Pre-Match
If you need to cancel your phone call before you've found a Volunteer, simply log into your Catchafire dashboard and select "Cancel Phone Call."
Cancelling a 1-Hour Phone Call: Post-Match
In the event you have already sent out scheduling times to your Volunteer but need to cancel a phone call, no problem. Select your project within your dashboard and select "Cancel & Relist". Your volunteer will receive a notification that the call has been cancelled. If you do not want to accept any new applications, you can then simply cancel the phone call from your dashboard.
Tip: It's always best to also let your Volunteer know you need to cancel (either via email or through a message using the chat portal) so they're updated on where things stand.
Prefer to just reschedule your call? Select the "Reschedule call" option and send your volunteer some alternative times to connect.
