Nonprofits get expert help on real projects. Volunteers get to put their skills to work for causes they care about. We support both sides with our technology, ready-to-use projects, and a customer support team.

What your organization gets
Catchafire connects your organization with skilled professionals who want to volunteer. You can get expert help in areas like marketing, web development, operations, strategy, and more, at no cost to you.
Our catalog has more than 150 ready-to-use projects. "Ready-to-use" means each project is already planned out, with clear steps and specific deliverables, so it is easy to find what you need and match with a volunteer who has the right skills. Not sure where to start? You can begin with a 1-hour call, a one-hour conversation with a volunteer, to get advice and explore ideas before committing to a full project.

How to join as an organization
Nonprofits and social good organizations get access to Catchafire in one of two ways:
Foundation-sponsored membership: A foundation (a funder) pays for your membership and invites your organization to join. If a foundation invited you, tell us which one so we can send you to the correct registration page.
Free membership: If you do not have a sponsor, you can apply for a free membership using this form. We will let you know if a spot opens up.

For Volunteers
What you get as a volunteer
As a Catchafire volunteer, you can use your professional skills to support causes you care about. You can build your resume, grow your network, and gain confidence, all while helping a nonprofit that needs your expertise.
You can support a nonprofit in two ways:
A project: Choose from more than 150 project types in areas like marketing, design, IT, finance, and more. Projects range from 5 to 50 hours. Each project page lists the skills required, the deliverables, and an impact statement from the nonprofit, so you know exactly what you are signing up for and how your work will help.
A 1-hour call: A one-hour conversation with a nonprofit, with no commitment to a full project.
Every time you complete a project, Catchafire creates an "impact story" page for you. An impact story summarizes the work you did, and you can share it with your network to showcase your volunteering.
